With the advent of improved building methods over the last two decades and the increased risk of bio-terrorism, there is serious concern regarding indoor air quality in both residential and commercial buildings. Coanda has extensive experience with ventilation flows in both full scale facilities and scale models.
Above is a ventilation model of a chemical decontamination chamber. A study was performed to identify the optimum ventilation strategy for the facility. Shown below is a photo of the laboratory model with 2D LIF and conductivity probes setup to measure the ingress of contaminants.
