Process Modelling
There are three primary tools that Coanda uses when developing or optimizing a new fluid dynamic process, or when solving flow related problems in existing systems. These methods are physical modelling, analytical modelling and computational modelling.
Coanda is unique in its ability to offer a strong capability in all of the three key areas of process modelling and optimization. This allows us to utilize the most optimum combination of techniques on any given problem. In some problems laboratory simulations are used to validate the computational code, after which the CFD code is used to simulate the system with fluids and parameters that cannot be modelled in the laboratory. In other cases laboratory models are used to obtain critical coefficients that are essential in analytical models. While in other cases all of the critical information to meet the client's needs can be extracted from a well-executed physical model.
