Computational Modelling
Coanda offers the capability of using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in conjunction with laboratory experiments to provide further insight into problems being studied.
CFD is used as a design and optimization tool to predict the movement of fluids in, around and through systems without the need for producing a physical prototype. Design models can be directly imported from CAD programs such as ProE and AutoCAD ensuring exact dimensions of commercial equipment.Real processes involving heat transfer, chemical reactions and fluid flow can all be modelled using CFD.
Coanda offers advanced modelling and consulting capabilities using state of the art software packages such as ANSYS Fluent and OpenFoam.
Coanda also has the expertise to develop in house codes for special applications and problems.
In Addition to numerous high-performance computers, Coanda maintains an up-to-date dedicated HPC Linux cluster for parallel processing of CPU intensive CFD and FEA simulations.
